On Wednesday March 17 Room 13 visited the Nelson Provincial Museum to add to our learning in our One Nation Many Cultures topic. We looked at stories from New Zealand's first Chinese immigrant, Appo Hocton, and stories from more recent immigrants to the Nelson Region.Due to a double booking we even got to work with students from Waimea Intermediate.Thank you to the Nelson Provincial Museum in getting the exhibition together and working with us on the day.
